The Khareba Winery Tunnel is a unique underground winery located in the village of Kvareli, Georgia. The tunnel is 7.7 km (4.8 mi) long and was originally built in the 1950s as a military facility. In the 21st century, it was converted into a winery and tourist attraction. The tunnel maintains a constant temperature of 12-14°C (54-57°F), making it an ideal place for wine storage and maturation. Visitors can take guided tours of the tunnel, learn about traditional Georgian winemaking methods, and taste some of the delicious local wines.
